AZUL FFPE DNA Extraction Kit
AZUL FFPE DNA Extraction Kit is an easy and efficient system for the isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from archived FFPE samples. It is difficult to extract DNA from FFPE tissues because the formalin preservation procedure creates cross-links between DNA strands and between proteins. Because of the subpar preservation of genomic DNA in FFPE, many common downstream analysis applications cannot easily use it. Without requiring an overnight digestion, the AZUL FFPE DNA EXTRACTION KIT is designed to partially undo this cross-linking. Additionally, a deparaffinization technique not involving xylene is included in the protocol. This kit uses a silica-based spin column technology for isolating DNA from FFPE blocks, thereby eliminating toxic phenol-chloroform extractions. The eluted DNA is suitable for all sensitive downstream applications such as qPCR and Next-Generation sequencing.
