Azooka is a biotech company with products pushing the Climate Change agenda to protect soil and water from bio-hazardous chemicals used in life science research and molecular diagnostic applications. Founded in 2016, Azooka’s portfolio has patented specialty fluorophore products and molecular sample collection kits for genomics and diagnostic labs that are used on a daily basis. At Azooka, we strive to develop and re-think molecular biology chemicals based on the principles of green chemistry and make molecular biology accessible and affordable for all countries across the globe.

Azooka manufactures molecular-grade sample collection kits and genomics consumables based on safe and sustainable green chemistry practices. Based in Bangalore, India, our FDA compliant manufacturing unit produces zero effluents, emissions, and environmentally hazardous by-products.

Our Technology

After 9 years of intensive development, Azooka’s proprietary technology is here to revolutionize the $12B & $52B sample transport media and fluorescent tags market and relegate biohazards to the past.

Azooka’s Eco-Fluorophores is a platform and a library of a new class of molecules to replace the age-old cyanine and thiazole dyes and their derivatives. Our IP portfolio includes patents in the United States, Japan, Korea, and India, and our molecular transport media has been named a key upcoming technology by Bloomberg. We are currently obtaining FDA GRAS & ACT Green Label certifications to emphasize our commitment to the green chemistry revolution.
